After a period of consideration I have decided to reinstate the site.
I shut the site down because I was becoming increasingly disenchanted with the original for the following reasons:
- Many of my posts were of the "Look, I'm still here type" and didn't actually say anything
- I was spending a lot of time talking about doing things rather than actually doing it
- I felt that is was time for a change
The period of reflection has been helpful, and allowed me to focus on what it is I actually want to do. I've decided to take the site in new direction.
The site will have only two types of post.
- Essays on things that are interesting to me at the moment
- Examples of my fiction writing.
The posts will be longer, but will appear less frequently. I am not going to put myself under stress about how often I should be updating. If I have something to say I will post it on the site.
